"We went for the pumpkin carving event with little kids held here. It was a great fun experience for my kid and my friend's kid. Crafts, paint, goodies, pumpkins, and all the necessary tools to carve were provided by the school for free for those who did RSVP. Really appreciate the efforts of teachers Ms. Saritha and Ms. Geetha. It was well maintained."

"This is an awesome school for kids, hands down. The amount of attention Ms. Saritha and Ms. Geetha put into the development of each child is simply amazing! My daughter has been attending only 6 months and she has already learned how to read. Ms. Saritha knows what she is doing, and she is VERY good at it. Her philosophy on the education and behavioral development of young kids is spot on — you can literally feel her passion radiating from her."

"I'm so grateful that this school opened close to my home. My daughter has been there for about six months and we are very happy with the change. The transition was seamless, and she is excited to go to school every day. The curriculum has helped with literacy and math, but also with attitudes around how to approach challenges and regulate emotions. Although South Brunswick offers a preschool program, we couldn't imagine taking her out of Milestones. I highly recommend this school!"

"We are VERY happy with our experience at Milestones Montessori. Within the first two weeks we were already impressed — our son was becoming more independent, better at focusing, and his reading and writing skills grew very quickly. Ms. Saritha's observations about his strengths and growth areas have been spot-on. The program is well-run and true to the Montessori approach. And compared to other local options, Milestones is more affordable while delivering the best kind of educational program we could ask for."

The Montessori Way

Education That Honors
the Whole Child

The Montessori method, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori over 100 years ago, treats children as capable, curious individuals — not empty vessels to be filled, but flames to be kindled.

The Prepared Environment

Every material in our classrooms is purposefully chosen to invite exploration and independent discovery at each developmental stage.

The Absorbent Mind

Children aged 0–6 have a unique capacity to absorb information effortlessly from their environment — we design every experience to enrich this natural gift.

Uninterrupted Work Periods

Three-hour work cycles allow children to enter deep concentration — building focus, persistence, and intrinsic motivation that lasts a lifetime.

Mixed-Age Classrooms

Younger children learn by observing older peers; older children reinforce their knowledge by teaching. A natural, beautiful cycle of community learning.

"The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, the children are now working as if I did not exist."

— Dr. Maria Montessori

We serve children aged 2.5–6 through three main pathways: the Toddler Community (ages 2.5–3), the Primary Program (ages 3–6), and Extended Care (7:30 AM–6 PM). We also offer Winter Camp during school breaks. Each program is designed around the natural developmental stages of early childhood.

We maintain a 10:1 child-to-teacher ratio — well below most state requirements. This intentional choice ensures every child receives individualized attention and that our guides can build deep, trusting relationships with each learner.

Not at all! We welcome families who are completely new to Montessori. During your tour and orientation, we explain the philosophy in practical terms, show you how the materials work, and help you understand what to expect. Many of our most enthusiastic families came to us knowing very little about Montessori!

Our core school day runs Monday–Friday. We also offer extended care from 7:30 AM (early drop-off) through 6:00 PM (late pickup). Extended care includes healthy snacks, outdoor play, enrichment activities, and a relaxed, nurturing environment after the main school day.

Start by booking a tour using the scheduler above — it's free and there's no obligation. After your visit, if you'd like to proceed, download and complete our enrollment application form. Spots are limited and fill quickly, so we recommend applying early. Contact us directly at (732) 200-7343 to check current availability.
